Network
A group of any type of devices that are connected together with the ability to communicate with each other.В Generally, this is referred to computers in an environment like a office.
Nameservers
Special computers across the Web that have the sole purpose of matching domain names with the IP address of the web hosting server the website is being hosted on.В So when you type in a domain name in your web browser, it is the nameservers job to send the visitor to the correct web hosting server that the website is being hosted on.
Network Operation Center (NOC)
Also referred to as a datacenter.В NOC is a secure location that houses a network of web hosting servers and supporting technology such as high speed backbones and power sources.
