WHOIS
The database of all domain names that are registered.В This includes information about the person who registered the domain, when it was registered and much more.В Doing a WHOIS lookup is the process in finding information about a specific domain.
World Wide Web (WWW)
This is a linked system of all web documents on the Internet.В The world wide web is often confused with the Internet and both terms are often used interchangeably.В But technically they are not the same.В In order to view web documents, a web browser is required.
Web Browser
A software package that allows viewing of web documents available through the Internet.В These web documents are in a specific format that are optimized specifically to be viewed by web browser.
